Terry & Su-Lin!

Notorious-Jianne_Carlo-200x320Terrence O’Connor and Su-Lin Taylor are the protagonists of Notorious, Wind Dancer, Book Two.

Terry’s the son of an aristocrat whose lineage dates to William the Conqueror. Su-Lin’s the product of a mixed marriage, her mom’s Swedish and her dad’s Vietnamese.

Oil and water, pure bred and mutt, I love writing stories about polar opposite men and women who fall in love. It doesn’t take a lot of soul searching to realize that I spin mutt tales because I am one. My dad was Indian/Portuguese and my mom’s from north Portugal. I’m neither yin nor yang, but some odd combination of both.

So is Su-Lin. Two people who don’t believe they’re worthy of love. I love their tale and I hope you will too.

Tag Line:
Su-Lin, daughter of a Swedish mother and an oriental father, has never belonged until she meets Terrence, but can she trust him?

Here are few zippy lines from Notorious:

“While I appreciate the view of your sweet little body, darlin’, you do realize that this is the men’s steam room, not the women’s?”

“I like the view from behind too, darlin’. That’s one fine backside.”

“Aren’t you itching to try out another head on that body?”

“We can hook up tonight, darlin’. But I need something to tide me over.”

“Shall I feed you? My lips to yours?”

“Some body on that sugar.”

“Sod it, boyo. That one’s mine. Scratch her off your bull’s-eye.”

“She’s one freaking flexible woman. Did you see that?”

“That sugar’s marrying material, and I have a hunkering to settle down.”

“She’s sweeter’n double-chunk peanut brittle, and there’s no way you get to be the only gunslinger in town.”

“Tyranny so wins out over charm.”

“I want to touch you.”

“Did you miss me, darlin’?”

“We need to talk. About sex. Birth control.”

“An itty bitty thing like you?”

“Dinner’s usually around eightish. Join me for a drink on deck in half an hour, sugar? Wanna get married?”

“You don’t go from blowing me to screwing Harry.”

“I’m too randy to be gentle, and a woman’s first time should be special.”

“We’ll take the edge off first, and then we’ll do the dirty.”

“You aren’t one for pretty words, are you?”

Hope you enjoyed those!
